Saudi Arabia lifts COVID travel restrictions for citizens traveling to India

Saudi Arabia has finally removed its travel related restrictions from Turkey, India, Ethiopia, and Vietnam. Now citizens of Saudi Arabia can finally visit these places without any restrictions.

The country has also increased the period of vaccination for its citizens who wish to visit foreign. The decision was taken right after the week the country dropped some more measures related to COVID. This includes, wearing a face mask indoors and necessity of carrying the vaccination proof to enter public places.

However, the nation has said people will still need to wear a face mask in the Grand Mosque in Mecca and other places in Saudi Public Health Authority Weqaya.

Visitors planning to visit Saudi must download the ‘Tawakkalna’ mobile app within 8 hours of arrival in the nation. They also need to carry valid medical insurance covering all COVID.-19 costs for the entire duration of stay.

Besides, visitors are also required to fill an online registration immunization form that must be filled within 72 hours of leaving. Non-vaccinated will need to provide a negative RT-PCR test, taken within 72 hours of travel on departure.
